Let’s Pave The Way For Waste Water eTwinning Projesi
Name of the project: LET’S PAVE THE WAY FOR WASTE WATER
Our E-Twinning project is carried out with 22 students selected from 9 A and 9 B classes, in cooperation with our school's English Teachers Meltem Çevik (The founder of the project) and Hatice Aydeniz.
Age Range: 13-16
Duration: 10 Weeks
Aim of the Project: Students will visit local waste water (sewage) treatment plants and will start campaigns such as doing non-toxic detergent at school and collecting waste oil at homes so as to facilitate the process of local sewage treatment plants and learn not to give damage to water implicitly. (Note: Having waste water (sewage) treatment plants in the settled cities of twinners is not a must in our project.)
Timetable of the Project
12th February- 11th March = The students will visit waste water (sewage) treatment plants -if there is one nearby- under the permission of local municipalities. They will see and experience how waste water is accumulated. They will take photos and videos by interviewing the authorities in those treatment plants. During the determined time, students will share their experiences with other twinners by preparing presentations or videos by using web 2 tools.
March- April= The students will start campaigns at schools by preparing posters just to take the attention of other students. The aim of the campaign will be about collecting waste oil at houses, bringing waste oil cans to schols and yielding them to local authorities. (Note: Waste oil and overusing of detergent give harm to waste water (sewage) treatment plants and the process of them because after being purified waste water is swayed to agricultural areas). Also, the students will make non toxic detergents by using simple ingredients at school and encourage all the students at school to use them. All of the twinners will share their experiences about the process of their campaigns.

Projenin Amacı: Öğrenciler yerel atık su (kanalizasyon) arıtma tesislerini ziyaret edecek ve yerel kanalizasyon arıtma tesislerinin işleyişini kolaylaştırmak ve yapmamayı öğrenmek için okulda toksik olmayan deterjan yapılması, evlerde atık yağların toplanması gibi kampanyalar başlatacak. dolaylı olarak suya zarar verir. (Not: Projemizde ikizlerin yerleşik olduğu şehirlerde atık su (kanalizasyon) arıtma tesislerinin bulunması şart değildir.)
Projenin Zaman Çizelgesi
12 Şubat- 11 Mart = Öğrenciler, yerel belediyelerin izniyle, yakınlarda varsa atık su (kanalizasyon) arıtma tesislerini ziyaret edecekler. Atık suyun nasıl biriktirildiğini görecek ve deneyimleyecekler. O arıtma tesislerinde yetkililerle görüşerek fotoğraf ve video çekecekler. Belirlenen süre içerisinde öğrenciler web 2 araçlarını kullanarak sunumlar veya videolar hazırlayarak deneyimlerini diğer ikizlerle paylaşacaklardır.
Mart-Nisan= Öğrenciler okullarda diğer öğrencilerin dikkatini çekmek amacıyla posterler hazırlayarak kampanya başlatacak. Kampanyanın amacı evlerdeki atık yağların toplanması, atık yağ bidonlarının okullara getirilerek yerel yönetimlere teslim edilmesi olacak. (Not: Atık yağ ve aşırı deterjan kullanımı atık su (kanalizasyon) arıtma tesislerine ve proseslerine zarar verir çünkü atık sular arıtıldıktan sonra tarım alanlarına salınır). Ayrıca öğrenciler okulda basit malzemeler kullanarak toksik olmayan deterjanlar yapacak ve okuldaki tüm öğrencilerin bunları kullanmasını teşvik edecekler. Tüm Twinner'lar kampanya süreçlerine ilişkin deneyimlerini paylaşacak.

E Twinning projemiz okulumuz İngilizce Öğretmenleri Meltem Çevik (Proje kurucusu) ve Hatice Aydeniz işbirliğinde 9 A ve 9 B sınıflarından seçili toplam 22 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmektedir.
